Bennett Homes - The Ecological Choice
Bennett Homes applies a sustainable approach to our business practices and custom quality homes to ensure our clients, community, staff and the environment benefit from our actions.

  • Education: Teaching our staff, partners and clients about sustainable practices helps Bennett truly fulfill our mission to foster "personal and professional growth through continuing education".
  • Sustainable to the core: Bennett Homes works hard to provide environmentally sustainable options to homeowners that can improve the health, cost and efficiency of their homes.
  • Recycling programs: Bennett Homes works hard to recycle as much of the waste that we generate, as well as purchase recycled content products and business tools whenever possible.
  • Bennett's Fleet is Greenhouse Gas Neutral Bennett Homes has contracted with DrivingGreen.com to offset our entire fleet of 45 construction and customer service vehicles, making us greenhouse gas neutral. With this program Bennett is able to offset its emissions through the purchase of 291 credits. The proceeds from these credits go to one of DrivingGreen.com's agricultural projects to purchase equipment that captures and converts methane gas from animal waste into renewable energy. Bennett Homes has received a serialized certificate documenting the verified emission reduction credits (VERs) used to offset our fleet; which is verified by a SES-Inc, (www.ses-corp.com). Additionally, each vehicle will display a window decal that reads, "This vehicle is greenhouse gas neutral."
