Design/Options Meetings (presales - construction has not begun)
Plans and Spec Orientation -
Within 2 weeks of contract acceptance
The purpose of this meeting is to review and educate you on the entire process and all standard specifications, including the electrical plan.
This allows you to make preliminary requests for pricing and become clear on the establishment of expectations. You may submit additional request
for pricing on anything for the next 2 weeks (up to 1 month from contract acceptance).
Selection Meeting -
Within 6 weeks of contract acceptance
During this meeting, you will go over all finish options and submit pricing requests on finish options only. The change order requests you previously
submitted are presented and explained to you by the Designer. You will also meet with our cabinet representative at this time to review the standard cabinets offered.
Lighting Meeting -
time permitting
Your design consultant will advise you as to the standard lighting package. Should you desire to make changes, and if time permits, an appointment will be arranged for you, and you may view
selections and make changes there. All lighting selections must be finalized prior to the recap meeting.
Recap Meeting -
Within 2 months of contract acceptance
Review pricing on all final options and recap the entire package of options. You will be expected to sign final paperwork and remit any monies due at this point. No further changes will be
considered.
Construction Meetings
Foundation Walk -
After the foundation is poured
You will meet with your Superintendent to learn more about your lot and the placement of your home on it.
Framing Walk -
After mechanical rough-in is complete
Your Superintendent will contact you to arrange a meeting where you will verify the changes you have authorized (i.e., additional outlets, etc).
Customer Service Meetings
New Home Orientation -
Approximately 2 weeks before Closing
When your home is complete, our Customer Care Representative will contact you to set up your New Home Orientation date. You will learn about the features of your home, obtain warranties and
walk-thru your home noting items that need correction (a "punch list").
Final Walk Thru -
Day of closing
You will inspect all the items listed on your punch list and sign-off on each, indicating their completion.
